The mission of the Pasadena Suzuki Music Program, an inclusive community of students, their families, teachers and supporters, embraces the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki in order to foster the musical and personal growth of children of all abilities, including the underserved, by creating and appreciating musical excellence, and developing sensitivity, discipline and endurance so that our students will nurture their musical talents, become ambassadors of peace, hope and understanding, and have beautiful hearts.
We are committed to supporting local school music programs and youth orchestras. We are a member of the YOLA Stakeholder Network and the Pasadena Music Education Partners, and we're excited to have started our second year of a partnership with Willard Elementary School in Pasadena by providing teachers for their beginning Suzuki violin classes and offering Willard Suzuki Violin Students access to PSMP's resources.
Pasadena Suzuki Music Program is a non-profit 501C3 sponsored by the Suzuki Music Association of California/ Los Angeles Branch. Your generosity makes our mission possible.

PSMP is governed by an all-volunteer Board which includes representatives from faculty, parents, alumni, and people involved in the surrounding musical community. The Board is elected annually by the families and staff of PSMP.
